Folios 179-182: William Bradley, Regulating Captain, Cowes, Isle of Wight. Encloses an affadavit from Isaac Harrington, Coxwain of the American frigate Spex, who has entered for the Royal Navy and appears to be a British subject. He has been sent to HMS Royal William. Captain Bradley thought he should inform the Admiralty since the American agent in Cowes, Mr [Auldis ?], tells him he has applied to the Admiralty to have Harrington released as he is an American subject. Harrington has now served beyond the term of his contract on the Spex.
Folio 180: enclosed with folios 179-182. Affadavit sworn 22 April 1811 by Isaac Harrington before John Hare at West Cowes. Swears that he was born in Ashford, Kent, in 1785.
