Folio 172: Duncombe Pleydell Bouverie, HMS Medusa, Spithead. Encloses a copy of the order for George Bailey to act as Carpenter of HMS Medusa, as well a a copy of the earlier order appointing him as acting Carpenter of HMS Royal Oak. Asks that Mr Bailey be confirmed as Carpenter.
Folio 173: enclosed with folio 172. Copy of an order dated 21 December 1810 from Captain Lord Amelius Beauclerk, HMS Royal Oak, the Basque Roads, appointing Carpenter's Mate George Bailey to act as Carpenter to replace George Dalrymple, who has died.
Folio 174: enclosed with folio 172. Copy of an order dated 20 January 1811 from Captaiin Lord Amelius Beauclerk, HMS Royal Oak, the Basque Roads, appointing acting Carpenter George Bailey to act as Carpenter of HMS Medusa, as the Carpenter of that ship has now been appointed to HMS Royal Oak.
