Folio 446: John Broughton, HMS Indefatigable, Basque Roads. The 8 Petty Officers and men listed were sent in a French schooner captured in January 1810 to sail her to Plymouth. He has received letter informing him that the ship was wrecked on the Saints and Thomas Green drowned and the others sent to prison. He does not expect them to be joining the ship again and asks that he is allowed to put them on the Supernumerary list for wages only.
