Folio 377: enclosure with folio 376. Letter dated 1 December 1809 by Thomas Pike, Barrow, Bristol. James Boyne, impressed from HMS Providence from Newfoundland, is willing to procure as many for men for his discharge, that their Lordships decide.
Folios 378-380: enclosure with folio 376. Letter dated 4 December 1809 by Lieutenant Pasley, HMS Enchantress, Kingroad, Bristol to Captain George Barker, Regulating Captain, Bristol. James Boyne was impressed out of HMS providence from Newfoundland on 26 November 1809. He is about 24 years of age and is an Ordinary Seaman.
