Folios 373-374: John Broughton, 30 Upper Berkeley Street, Portman Square. Having been ordered to receive onboard HMS Meleager Sir James Cockburn with his suite of servants and baggage to proceed to the island of Curazoa [Curaçao]. Soon after he received information from Admiral Montagu that Sir James Cockburn was not going to the West Indies but he had already incurred expenses. Request such allowance be paid.
