Description

Folio 230: Henry Boys, 99 High Street, Portsmouth. States that William Ruby a Private Royal Marine belonging to this Division, having been two years with him as his attendant [on HMS Reindeer], having a wish to follow him again in the same capacity. He hopes they will indulge him by ordering his discharge from the Royal Marines having lodged in the hands of the Honourable George Villiers Paymaster of the Royal Marines, fifty Guineas.
