Folios 448-450: John Burn, HMS Albacore, Spithead. Advises he has been ordered to anchor by Captain Manby, HMS Thalia, as one of the carronades has been rendered unserviceable on firing at an enemy's Brig of War off Cherbourg and the ship's stern has been damaged in a severe gale. He will proceed off Cherbourg as soon as these defects have been made good.
