Folio 264: William Bradley, HMS Plantagenet, off Brest. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Samuel Greenway who has asked to be relieved of his position to deal with serious domestic issues. Advises that he would be pleased if the said Lieutenant was appointed to his ship at a later date.
Folios 265-266: enclosure with folio 264. Letter dated 20 May 1807 by Lieutenant Samuel Greenway, HMS Plantagenet, off Ushant, to the Admiralty. Asks to be replaced so he can attend to domestic concerns.
Folios 267-269: enclosure with folio 264. Letter dated 28 May 1807 by Lieutenant Samuel Greenway, HMS Plantagenet, off Brest, to the Admiralty. Asks again to be replaced as the fortune of his dearest friends is pending in law and his presence is absolutely necessary. Advises that Captain Bradley would be happy to have his services in the future.
