Folios 434-436: Sir John Poo Beresford, London. His request for the Table Money allowance having been turned down he hopes they dont mind if he explains why he feels his claim is justified. He refers to the importance of the Halifax station, the political situation between the USA and GB and the diplomatic role he had to play. He again compares this to Captain Losack.
