Folio 452: Richard Byron, Beaumaris, Anglesea. Reports on the state of the Sea Fencibles in Anglesea. They consist of 64 men, mostly Masters of coasting sloops from Beaumaris and Holyhead trading to Liverpool, but in an emergency he would not be able to call 10 of them together. During his time in command no enemy has appeared that far up the St George's Channel. Given his distance from any other unit of Sea Fencibles and the rock-bound coast of Anglesea, believes his force could be commanded by Lieutenant Owen Williams (2), who is under his command, and wishes to resign his position.
Folio 453: Cover for Folio 452.
