Folio 191: Thomas Briggs, HMS Orpheus, Spithead. Two of his crew, Matthew Robinson alias Robson and Samuel Gardiner alias Croft have given themselves up as deserters, Robinson from HMS Zephyr and Gardiner from HMS Saracen. Both men have served aboard HMS Orpheus for the last 20 months, asks if he can continue to carry them on the books.
