Folio 345: Thomas Maude, Great George Street. Is sending a duplicate of a commission given by Rear Admiral Sir Edward Pellew, Commander-in-Chief, East Indies, appointing Joseph Bradbury Bogue, from the command of HMS Victor to be Captain of HMS Sir Francis Drake, in place of Captain James Haldane Tait.
Folio 346: enclosure in folio 345. Commission dated 24 December 1805 by Sir Edward Pellew, Commander-in-Chief, East Indies. Duplicate of a commission for Joseph Bradby Bogue, Commander of HMS Victor appointing him acting Captain of HMS Sir Francis Drake in the place of Captain James Haldane Tait who is removed to HMS Pitt.
