Folios 334-335: Edmund Boger, HMS Donegal, Spithead. Concerning the loss of HMS Brave, following 5 days of gales, this despite every effort to save her. Stores and provisions were lost but most men and Officers saved. He thanks the efforts of Captain Malcolm, [Pulteney Malcolm ]HMS Donegal for saving so many men. Also mentions the bravery pf Lieutenant Greensill, Mr. Williams, Mr. Dunnand and Mr. Brown.

Log of the ship from Sunday 6th April until Friday 11th April, giving details of the weather and all the attempts to save the ship. Mentions a schooner from Kingston bound for New York, HMS Donegal, HMS Alexander, Captain [Pulteney] Malcolm, Lieutenants Edwards, Wyndham, Cole and Sander.
