Folio 223A: Philip Bartholomew, Regulating Captain, Londonderry. Encloses a testimony from William Galland 2nd mate of the American ship Jason Relative stating John Flemming is a British subject. This is supported by evidence from Lieutenant Porter that the master of the vessel, a Captain Blunt, admited such.
Folios 224-225: enclosure with folio 223A. Letter dated 9 April 1806 by Lieutenant George Porter to Captain Bartholomew explaining why John Flemming was pressed.
Folio 226: enclosure with folio 223A: A certificate by William Galland stating he had heard John Flemming say he was a British subject.
