Description

Folios 137-138: George Barker, Regulating Captain, Bristol. Explains the case of three men, Samuel Seidlinger, William Carr and Charles McKimm impressed from the American brigg Speculation by Lieutenant Williams, acting on information from three of the crew of the same vessel. Encloses three documents seeking protection status for the three men.

Folios 138-139: enclosure with folio 137. Certificates stating William Carr and Samuel Seidlinger are American citizens.

Folios 140-141: Enclosure with folio 137: Indenture dated 13 April 1805 by [W] Boyd stating Charles McKimm is indentured as an apprentice.
