Folios 130-131: George Barker, Regulating Captain, Bristol. Advises on the number of Trows operating between Bristol and the different ports of the river Severn as ninety eight, navigated by five hundred and eighty eight men. He states a third of them are liable to the impress and questions whether fifty from that number would be a fair proportion.
