Folio 393: Robert Barrie, HMS Brilliant, Lock Cragnach [Loch Craignish]. Since his letter of 26 January 1805 he dispatched Lieutenant Folds in HMS Brilliant's cutter to make enquiries about the Guineasman lying at Crinan and find things are not as bad as reported to him on 25 January 1805 by Lieutenant Campbell of the Volunteers.
Folio 394: enclosure with folio 393. Report by Thomas John Folds dated 28 January 1805 to Robert Barrie, HMS Brilliant. Gives details of the vessel named the George, Master Mr Brown, including owners Cellar [Sellar] and Henderson, origin Old Calabar, destination Liverpool. She has lost 14 men and has 4 sick on board.
