Folios 367-368: Robert Barton, HMS Raisonable, Cawsand Bay. Reports his arrival following orders from Rear Admiral Drury, given at Bearhaven on 28 [March 1805]. Receipt of appointment to command HMS Goliath, which was ordered on the same date to join the Channel fleet with HMS Princess of Orange. His Commission is now at Kinsale. Asks for a conveyance to HMS Goliath for himself, his baggage and his domestics. He understands that Captain Brisbane intends to apply for part of the crew of HMS Goliath. If this is granted, he hopes he will be allowed a proportion of the crew from HMS Raisonable.
