Description

Folios 379-380: George Byng, HMS Texel, Westgate Bay. Concerning an impress on his wages for the purchase and supply of beef to HMS Texel.

Folios 381-382: enclosure in folios 379-380. Letter dated 1 October 1803 by T. Stewart, HMS Monarch off Broadstairs, to the Captains, Commanders and Commanding Officers of H.M. ships in the North Sea. Concerning irregularities and abuses committed in the purchase of provisions for the supply of ships in the Channel service.
