Folio 375: Naval Agents, 10 John Street, Adelphi. Enclose Samuel Hoods commission appointing Lieutenant William Henry Byam, Coammnder of HMS Osprey.
Folio 376: enclosure in folio 375. Commission dated 14 July 1804 by Samuel Hood, HMS Blenheim, Carlisle Bay, Barbadoes, to Lieutenant William Henry Byam of HMS Blenheim. Appointment of Byam to HMS Osprey following Captain Young Husband of HMS Osprey to HMS Heureux in place of Captain Bland transferred to HMS Blenheim, Captain Thomas Graves being invalided.
