Folio 412: enclosed in folio 411. Petition dayed 18 September 1804 from Thomas Green Carpenter, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, Joseph Green should be discharged if he can be replaced by an able bodied man.
Folio 413: enclosed in folio 411: Statement dated 17 September 1804 by Thomas Green, Carpenter of Hoddesdon, swears that Joseph Green is his son and has been employed by Mr Wilkinson, Merchant of the Barbican who has a house in Hoddesdon. He has never been at sea or on a river or canal.
