Folio 154: George Barker, Regulating Officer, Bristol. John Eames, the Zephyr was pressed, but he rejects the claim that the Chief Mate was ill at the time.
Folios 155-156: enclosed with folio 154. Letter dated 25 August 1804 by Charles Payne. He asks for the discharge of John Eames, Second Mate, the Zephyr, as he says he is needed to discharge the cargo, the Chief Mate being sick.
