Folios 149-150: George Barker, Regulating Officer, Bristol. George Westlake, ex Carpenter of a West Indiaman was impressed by Lieutenant Young. He has been rescued by a large body of Shipwrights belonging to the merchant's yards. He says that previously he has seen these men as liable for impressment, but they threaten to rescue any of their number who are pressed.
