Folio 134: George Barker, Regulating Officer, Bristol. He encloses two protections for men he has impressed. William Davies has a sister in Bristol who says that he was born in Wales and Samuel Maggs has been on several voyages to the West Indies.
Folio 135: enclosure in folio 134. John Dudman. Printed protection notice dated 8 March 1804 for Samuel Maggs, Shipwright.
Folio 136: enclosure in folio 134. David Gelston, Collector, New York. Certificate dated 16 April 1804 confirming that William Davies was born in Baltimore, Maryland and is a citizen of the United States.
