Description

Folio 407: Richard Arthur, HMS Andromeda, Spithead. He encloses a copy of the orders he received from Vice Admiral Martin. He arrived with the convoy from Porto apart from those ships that HMS Columbine escorted into Bristol.

Folios 408-409: enclosed in folio 407. Orders dated 6 July 1813 by George Martin, Vice Admiral, HMS Stately in the Tagus, to Richard Arthur, HMS Andromeda for escorting the convoy to England and for transporting supplies and money to the British army under the Marquis of Wellington.
