Folios 380-382: Richard Arthur, HMS Andromeda, off Corunna. He provides a lengthy account of his actions in cruising off the coast of Spain. He is concerned that he has offended the Admiralty by leaving his station and explains that his actions were agreed with Sir George Collier, HMS Surveillant. He also explains his actions in anchoring at Falmouth and for leaving without Admiralty orders. He refers the lords of the Admiralty to Vice Admiral Campbell who he says can attest to his character and conduct.
