Folio 425: John Millar Adye, HMS Partridge, Spithead. Lieutenant E.K. Foley [Edward Kingston Foley] of HMS Nantwich schooner has prize money belonging to John Smith, Boatswain's Mate from HMS Partridge, now in hospital. Foley has been very evasive with Mr Kennedy, Lord Gardiner's secretary and Adye feels he has no intention of paying it so he asks the Admiralty to intervene.
