Description

Folio 397: Charles Austen, HMS Cleopatra, Spithead. Will send the orders of James Loveless, acting Boatswain and Archibald Gordon, Carpenter on HMS Cleopatra.

Folio 398: enclosed in folio 397. Warrant dated 13 March 1810 by Admiral John Borlase Warren to James Loveless, Boatswain of HMS Goree to replace Wiiliam Quayle, Boatswain of HMS Cleopatra, who is injured.

Folio 399: enclosed in folio 397. Warrant dated 6 October 1810 by Admiral John Borlase Warren, Halifax to Archibald Gordon, Acting Carpenter of HMS Driver, to be appointed as Carpenter of HMS Cleopatra.

Folio 400: Warrant dated 29 September 1810 by Vice Admiral John Borlase Warren, Halifax, to Archibald Gordon, Carpenter's Mate of HMS Cleopatra to act as Carpenter of HMS Driver in place of William Footiy who has been appointed to act as Carpenter of the Guerriere in place of William Kirk who has been invalided.

Folio 401: Warrant dated 13 March 1810 by Vice Admiral John Borlase Warren, Halifax, to Archibald Gordon, Carpenter's Mate of HMS Cleopatra, to act as Carpenter of HMS Driver in place of William Footit (invalided) removed to HMS Cleopatra.
