Folio 355: George Astle, State Papers Office. Asks that his son Commander George Astle arrived at the Downs with HMS Prince Frederick from the Cape, then directed to the Nore, be granted leave. He wishes to see Lord Spencer who has appointed him commander of HMS Hobart presently at the Cape to which he will sail as soon as possible.
