Folio 376: Charles Bullen, Sea Fencibles, Plymouth. Reply to request from the Sea Fencibles of Plymouth Dock for the discharge of a man that was impressed on board HMS San Joseph, as also their directions to him to let the Admiralty know what has passed respecting the man. In answer he refers to his letter addressed to Captain Dacres stating the particulars you require.
Folios 377-378: Enclosures with folio 376. We the Sea Fencibles of Plymouth Dock and the vicinity hath enrolled ourselves agreeable to your Lordships proposals. Unfortunately for one man he has been pressed and taking to sea in HMS San Joseph when along side of the ship. Our Captain wrote to the Captain Rood but cannot get him clear so we request he be released.
