Folios 372-373: Charles Bullen, HMS Minerve, St Hellens. Reports arrival from off Cherbourg, the 14 days having elapsed when he was to return to this anchorage for orders, their not being any for him. He will the instant he can send the Prisoners out of the ship, return to his cruising grounds again. Reports that on the 30 May 1803 he detained a Portuguese ship from Lisbon bound to Harve, the Master is a Frenchman and cannot speak Portugese and the Mate a Portuguese who cannot speak French. Their Log is kept in French.
