Description

Folios 273-275: Thomas Brown, HMS William, Spithead. Reports that in consequence of having taken two of his young Midshipman out of a detained Brig performing Quarantine at the Mother Bank. The Pratique Master of this port has put the ship under Quarantine but trusts on his arrival at the Downs the ship will be released that he may be enabled to proceed as per his orders. The 2 Young Gentlemen are as well as the ships company are in perfect health.
