Folios 269-270: Thomas Brown, HMS William, Mother Bank. Reports arrival in HMS William in company with the Mediterranean Convoy Commanded by Captain John Pengelly of HMS Pegasus and report that he has received six additional Guns on board of Long Six Pounders at Gibraltar with 20 soldiers belonging to the 25th Regiment of Foot to assist in the working of them. Also reports that sundry condemned Naval Stores have been received at Malta and Gibraltar to be returned into store. A journal of the proceedings [not present] is attached since his departure from England and also encloses his Weekly Account and Defects[not present].
