Folio 211: William Robert Broughton, HMS Penelope, Grimsby Roads, River Humber. States that Lieutenant George Gayton Warren has been sent to sick quarters at Yarmouth on 7 June 1803 and having been discharged on the 18 July 1803 by Admiralty Order due to his health. Request another Lieutenant be appointed as junior to the present senior Lieutenant John Gedge appointed 10 July 1798. PS I enclose a copy of my letter to [Admiral] Sir George Keith [Elphinstone (1st Viscount Keith)] stating my arrival and proceedings.
