Folio 201: William Robert Broughton, HMS Penelope, Yarmouth Roads. States that Joseph Salmon and Robert Howes were received on board this ship from the Rendezvous at Yarmouth and appear to be Mates of the vessels mentioned.
Folio 202: enclosure with folio 201. Petition dated 21 May 1803 of William Danby Palmer of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Merchant and sole owner of the Brigantine George of Yarmouth, 101 Tons, Mr Lines - Master. That on Sunday 15 May 1803 Joseph Salmon Chief Mate and due to go to St. Petersburg was impressed, and placed on HMS Penelope. Request he be discharged.
Folio 203: enclosure with folio 201. Petition dated 21 May 1803 of James Scott of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, Mariner and the Owner of the Brigantine John of Yarmouth, 105 Tons, James Knights - Master. That on Sunday 15 May 1803 Robert Howes, Chief Mate of the said Brigantine was impressed, and placed on HMS Penelope. Request he be discharged.
