Folio 194: William Robert Broughton, HMS Penelope, Yarmouth Roads. States that as HM Ships under his command will in a short time be in want of provisions from the number of supernumeraries victualled in addition to the war compliment, having only completed at Sheerness on 27 January 1803 to 4 months, for a compliment of 190 men. He knows if we should be supplied at this place and that the same may be ordered. HMS Bold, Gun Brig arrived this morning with 9 pressed men and HMS Mallard from her station being in want of provisions.
