Folio 425: Lambert Brabazon, Regulating Captain, Dublin. He has been ordered to collect any impressed men raised by Lieutenant Roach at Carmarthen. He points out that the ports of Milford Haven and Swansea are closer. In addition there are logistical difficulties. He has just three tenders and they never leave Dublin unless they are full of impressed men. The only tender presently in Dublin is HMS Concord who is about to depart for Plymouth. As the tender HMS Amy left for Plymouth on 8 June and another HMS Mother Ramsey on 9 June, he will soon have no tenders at all.
