Folio 414: Lambert Brabazon, Regulating Captain, Dublin. The Admiralty has asked him if he thinks it would be cost effective to open a rendezvous at Kilkenny. He thinks it would not be worth while given it is 30 miles from the nearest port which is Waterford. In addition, taking impressed men by road would likely cause rioting to break out given that many of the local people in the counties of Kilkenny and Waterford are Roman Catholic nationalists.
