Folio 413: Lambert Brabazon, Regulating Captain, Dublin. He reports that he has received his latest orders and showed them to Captain Faulkner of HMS Alonzo. Accordingly, they have impressed several men but as some of them were found to be Mates on vessels or were apprentices, in the end they could only keep sixteen of them. He reports several local difficulties that impede his ability to impress men including the fact that many likely candidates are being landed at Howth. HMS Alonzo remains crowded. HMS Galgo had arrived the night before and left with as many impressed men as she could carry.
