Folio 397: Charles Worsley Boys, HMS Amaranthe, Nore. He writes about two men, John White and Alexander Mason, whom he describes as blacks. They have documents stating they are American citizens but he thinks one of them came from the West Indies. John White volunteered as soon as he came on board.
