Folio 393: Charles Worsley Boys, HMS Amaranthe, Nore. He reports that Robert Mills, the mate of the Perseverance, was discharged on 15 May 1803. He encloses an application and affidavit.
Folio 394: enclosure with folio 393. Statement of John Newall a ships agent dated 17 May 1803 enclosing an affidavit of the master of the Perseverance concerning his mate Robert Mills. He writes that Robert Mills is by bills of lading accountable for a valuable cargo on board the vessel Perseverance and asks for his release.
Folio 395: enclosure with folio 393. Affidavit of Alexander Gordon sworn on 12 May 1803 before H Reyness a justice of the peace, at the Police Office, Lambeth Street, London, stating that he is the master of the Perseverance of Aberdeen and that Robert Mills was his Mate but was impressed at Long Reach.
