Folio 362: Charles Worsley Boys, HMS Amaranthe, Long Reach. He reports that a man named Abraham Hemingway has escaped.
Folios 363-365: enclosure with folio 362> Letter dated 14 May 1803 by George Baynes, Iron Gate Wharf, Tower, to Sir Evan Nepean. He writes that Abraham Hemingway, who was the chief mate on the brig Ann, has been impressed and is on board HMS Amaranthe. The man had both an affidavit and a three month Protection Certificate. The valuable cargo on the Ann cannot be delivered with him on board and so he asks for his immediate discharge.
