Description

Folio 211: Duncombe Pleydell Bouverie, HMS Mercury, Spithead. He announces his arrival from Guernsey in convoy together with HMS Sincerity as ordered by Rear Admiral James Sumarez. He encloses letters from James Sumarez [not enclosed] and also a list of his ship's defects.

Folio 212: enclosure to folio 211. Captain Pleydall Bouverie, HMS Mercury and Thomas Stokes, Carpenter. List of defects of HMS Mercury.
