Folio 210: Duncombe Pleydell Bouverie, HMS Mercury, Spithead. He writes about two men on his ship, Nesbitt and Webster. They both were to receive their bounty for volunteering at the Nore. Apparently there has been a muddle involving crossed letters and it seems that the two men are properly indentured apprentices and so cannot volunteer. He confirms their bounty has not been paid but he asks that they not be discharged as they are stout and able men and therefore much wanted by the Navy
