Folio 191: Duncombe Pleydell Bouverie, HMS Mercury, Longreach. The complement of his ship has increased and so he asks that the Board or Ordinance be ordered to supply him with two extra guns. Two long six pounders to be used on the forecastle where there are presently no guns. If the request is made immediately they can be fitted at the Nore, where they are presently heading.
