Folios 178-182: Duncombe Pleydell Bouverie, HMS Mercury, Deptford. He reports that a man named Patrick Scott was impressed from the Blackbird by Lieutenant Guise. The man is too old to be an apprentice. Thereafter, he voluntarily entered the Service and has stated he is willing to remain on board HMS Mercury.
