Folio 172: Duncombe Pleydell Bouverie, HMS Mercury, Deptford. He asks that a Purser be appointed to his ship as the Purser who had actually been appointed, a Mr Atkinson, has not appeared. He asks for this appointment to be made quickly as he expects a gang of men from Greenwich who will have to be fed.
