Folio 166: John Bourchier, Royal College, Greenwich. He wants to place his son William Bourchier on the New Establishment at the Royal Academy at Portsmouth. He encloses the required certificates and asks what he should now do. He adds that if there is not a vacancy at this time that his son be permitted for the time being to go to the Old Establishment.
Folio 167: enclosure to folio 166: This is a copy baptismal certificate of William Bourchier.
Folio 168: enclosure to folio 166: A certificate dated 25 April 1803 by John Stewart, M.A., attesting to William Bourchier's attendance at Charterhouse School and success there.
