Folios 444-447: Philip Beaver, Southend. As requested in Admiralty letter of 16 November encloses letter from Captain Bayley with regard to the Lieutenant Baker being summoned to Chelmsford.
Folio 445: enclosure with folios 444-447. Letter from Captain Bayley, Burnham dated 22 November 1803. Replying to Philip Beaver's letter of 20 November requesting to know the reason for Lieutenant Baker's absence states he was summoned to Chelmsford to"answer a debt".
