Folio 407: Philip Beaver, Maldon. Confirms visited all Signal Posts in his district and all appears in order. Signal Post at Wakering is too far from Foulness Island to distinctly see either flags or balls in summer due to the undulating refraction of the atmosphere near the horizon.
